Why I'm Not Seeking Political Party Endorsements
Uniting Our Community — Not Dividing It
I’m running to unite our community behind our teachers and students — not political parties. My goal is to work with everyone, regardless of political affiliation or ideology, and to be a voice for all families in Tahoma.
Although this is a nonpartisan position, these races often follow political lines. That’s why I’ve made the decision not to seek official endorsements from any political party.
Instead, I’m seeking support from people who care deeply about education, student success, teacher support, and the future of our schools.
Meeting with Everyone
While I’m not seeking party endorsements, I’m making the effort to meet with both Democratic and Republican groups. These conversations give me the opportunity to share my platform, listen to concerns from across the political spectrum, and continue building trust throughout our community.
I’m committed to honest dialogue, mutual respect, and a shared focus on putting students first.
Signs of Hope
One of the things I’ve been most humbled by is seeing my campaign yard signs proudly placed in Democrat, Republican, Independent, and nonpartisan yards throughout Tahoma. That gives me hope, because it means people are ready to rise above division and focus on what truly matters: our kids, our teachers, and our future.
These are the first steps toward finding common ground. Together, we can build something better — and I believe it starts with UNITY.
